Meet The Experts

Wild Michigan is proud to have so many great guests, ready to share their years of experience with us.

Below is a list of folks that find their way back on a recurring basis. All of them have been with Wild Michigan since it's early beginnings and we are proud to call them "friends!"

Tom Nelson

Host, American Archer Televison Show

Grand Ledge, MI

www.theamericanarcher.com

For over 20 years Tom Nelson has been host of The American Archer televison show on the Outdoor Channel. A life long student of the sport, he has also taught many. On that list, host of Wild Michigan Outdoors Radio Show, Duran Martinez.

Despite the countless record book trophies, Tom remains most humble and in our opinion, the perfect ambassador for the world of archery.

Doug Roberts

"The Deer Professor"

Whitetail Expert/ConQuest Scent Sticks

Davison, MI

www.conquestscents,com

Doug is truly "The Deer Professor!" He has also developed some some of the top scents in the industry.

Doug will make appearences throughout the year to educate our listeners on whitetail behavior and how deer patterns change as we head towards the rut.

Make sure to check out the full line of scents in a stick from Michigan's own ConQuest Scents, like Evercalm and VS-1.

Brian "Bro" Brosdahl

Pro Angler, Ice Fishing and Panfish Guru

Max, MN

www.brosguideservice.com

We first met Bro when we chased him across a Wal-Mart parking lot in Lansing. Since then the ice fishing guru ahs been sharing his wealth of knowledge about panfish and their habits on a regular basis.

When he's not on the tournament trail or doing seminars, he is heading up Bro's Guide Service in the "Land of 10,000 Lakes!"

Lance Valentine

Walleye Pro/Instrucitonal Guide

Davison, MI

www,teachinfishin.com

Since our early days on just one local station, Captain Lance Valentine has been teaching us about "finding more catchable fish."

Lance continues to teach people better walleye tactics at his store in Davison, MI and seminars and instructional fishing trips all over the Mid-West.

David A. Rose

Outdoor Writer/Fishing Guide

Traverse City, MI

www.wildfishing.com

David is an outdoor writer, photographer and fishing guide. With all of that on his plate, we wonder how he finds time to help us with anything. Rose is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to Michigan waters and tactics to catch the huge variety of fish species here in Michigan.

David has helped us learn how to "match the hatch" and offers up some great tips on steelhead in the spring and big lakes salmon in the summer, just to name a few.
