Team Wild Michigan - Ireland Chapter
Since 2012, Eoin O'Hagan has been trying to land Wild Michigan on the shores of Ireland, to showcase the beautiful Lough Derg. Through many Trans-Atlantic phone calls, emails, and interviews, it has finally happened. Wild Michigan visited County Clare and had the opportunity to fish for wild brown trout and pike on the fly. These are just a few of the people that have made it all possible and will forever be considered members of "Team Wild Michigan." An honorary title that holds much appreciation for their hard work and love of the outdoors.
Eoin O'Hagan
The driving force behind our trip to County Clare and fishing Lough Derg, Eoin O'Hagan is a tireless champion for tourism in the area. A Dublin transplant, Eoin works non stop with video and press to bring attention to a hidden gem. Trophy pike and wild brown trout are just a couple of the amazing species that await anglers against a backdrop of scenery that only Ireland can provide. Matthew Solon
A world class angler, Matthew has helped guide others all over the world. He has fished places like Argentina, Chile and even Russia! We had the pleasure of fishing with and learning from Matthew on Lough Derg.

Originally from Bergamo, Italy, Nicola was our guide from Black Bay Fishing Lodge. Pike on the fly is his specialty and he delivered. The lodge is beautiful and Chef Marco made us an amazong pasta dish that was amazing.
